My overly ambitious husband Brian has been training for a marathon that he is running on June 8th. This day he decided to go for a run when it had been raining all afternoon. (he thought he could out run the rain) Two minutes after he left it started down pouring and I thought for sure he would come back. He came back an hour later drenched to the gills. He thought it was a great!!! He could hardly wait for the next day to do it again. Maybe that is why he loves being a firefighter because he likes danger or at least living on the edge.

Brian always has been a little on the crazy side!! I could totally picture the look on his face when he said he couldn't wait to do it again!! He's nuts!
So, it's a fact that you don't get any wetter when you're running than just walking! So, he may have been trying to out run it, but if he'd just walked instead, he'd have come home just as wet! Brian- I'm sorry we didn't have this conversation before the rain- you wouldn't have had to run!!!!! So, do as I do- stay home and stay dry!
